Great Shallow Subwoofer!! December 24, 2008
I was contemplating if I should make this purchase. After looking at other shallow mounts I purchased this. I was not disappointed! It hits hard for a sub its size in my custom .55 cubic foot enclosure, while being powered by 250 watts. I am very happy with my purchase. Amazon.com has a low price and free shipping.

I have this sub mounted in a custom wood enclosure of .48 cu ft and it sounds incredible! I didn't think it would hit very hard or sound extremely good because of the shallow depth design and the fact that I'm only pushing 200W rms to it but it has proven me wrong. Pioneer recommends .60 cu ft, but the sub can be installed in a box with volumes between .35 to .70 cu ft with only a 3.5" mounting depth. It comes with a ring cutout as well as measurements for a sealed, ported and bandpass box. The price at Amazon is almost half of what you will find anywhere else.
