reasonable price for a good telescopic antenna November 18, 2008 This antenna works well. It is much more effective(transmitting and recieving) on my Midland 75-785 CB Handi-talkie than the stock "rubber duckie" that the radio came with. As with all "solid"(non-rubber duckie)antennas, be careful not to stress the mount on the radio when attaching and removing the collapsed antenna. Also, hold the antenna at its base when grabbing the top to extend or collapse the antenna. Try not to just hold the radio and pull or push the antenna. The antenna seems strong enough, but on any H-T radio the mount and it's internal attachment to the radio should be treated with respect.

Cobra's HA-TA telescoping antenna worked as advertised and noticeably increased the receive range of my handheld CB. This antenna is well worth the money and definitely outperforms the OEM rubber-duck antenna that came with the radio.

This works much better than my "rubber" original antenna. I went to the intersection of two major freeways to listen to radio signals, standing outside my vehicle. Cobra tech people said to NOT put any spray or lubricant on itCobra HA-TA Hand-Held CB Antenna
China junk!!! September 6, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
It wobbles at the connection where the whip is crimped to the screw stud. It's a crimped on connection and it was loose the day i got it. It'll only get worse since it's already loose.. $20.00 for this?
Great Antenna, Really works May 19, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This Antenna will definatly boost the range of your handheld CB radio. I have the HH38WXST model, and it boosts it from 4 miles to 15 miles! If you want more range, try it out. It's worth the small amount of money, and makes a huge difference.
