 Middle Of The Road Speaker NOT! November 18, 2008
I've been in the sound business for a little over 40 years, so I had my doubts about this speaker. But it fills a large room with full spectrum sound. The bass is clean yet full. The mids and highs are full and crisp. The best for the price hands down.
Good sound, but not powerful November 12, 2008
These are good speakers. They sound great. They just don't have a lot of power. 14 watts is barely enough to power my music when I'm at my desk. I got these speakers thinking they would be a good replacement for my Klipsch 2.1 speakers when they crashed. I used the Klipsch as my personal stereo system. The T40 speakers are not quite as effective as a stereo for a whole room, but they do have great sound quality while at the computer. So if you're looking for decent sound and don't need power, the T40 are a great option. If power is a concern you won't be satisfied with the T40 speakers.

As others have stated the Cons are that the power light is VERY Bright and the cord to the left speaker is attached to the speaker.
Very good speakers, but not great October 22, 2008
Clear, concise, good looking, but not great. Here's why:
elegant design
very clear in the upper and mid range levels
base is nice, but not rivoting
Enjoyable, a very good price for the quality of sound. If you like a big base, these are not the speakers for you.

If you're interested in small speakers, be sure to notice the size of these, or you may get something larger than anticipated. To me, great quality sound.
