4 out of 5 stars McGill in Color   December 6, 1998

Well I'm writing this review, because I was attending the University when a lot of the photos included in the book were taken. I even think I see a picture of myself taking a final in the school gymnasium. The book is both a historical & contemporary view on life at Canada's most distinguished university. If you're a graduate of McGill, you'll appreciate all the glossy photos of life on campus. It's a coffee table book, that doesn't dig too deep into any one subject, and conveniently glosses over the fact that the University is beeing slowly starved to death by the Quebec Government, who has never been totally at ease with the fact that the most distinguished university in the provence doesn't predominantly speak the prefered language of Quebec. All in all it's worth the $ that it will cost you, if you have some attachment to 'The Royal Institution for the Advancement of Learning'.
