Great to follow along with during class December 4, 2008 I'm in a ConLaw class right now that tends to wander and this book has definitely helped me to understand the fundamental points of the cases we are reading and the concepts we are learning. It is curious why Mr. Chemerinsky couldn't have been this concise in the casebook, but that's beside the point. :)
That being said, this is NOT a study aid for finals. It is way too indepth and specific to be used in the wee hours before a ConLaw final. Better to use this as a companion to your casebook and to follow along throughout the term.

The most well-organized, concise and easy for understanding con law book. Many JD students around US strongly recommened it.
Best Book In Law School September 19, 2008 Constitutional Law is by far the best book that I've purchased in law school. The author writes clearly and organizes a vast amount of material in a concise and readable fashion. I used this book for four classes, Con Law I and II, First Amendment, and Administrative law, and I wish I could find another treatise this useful for other classes.
Recommeded for Con Law Class June 1, 2008 This book is very helpful if you are looking for a Con Law study aid or explanation book. Many of my classmates also felt they had a better understanding of Con Law while using this book with the class.
the bible for con-law May 4, 2008 If anyone is taking Constitutional Law and is using the Chemerinsky case book, this treatise is a MUST have. You can actually get along the semester perfectly without the big case book and just reading this treatise. It explains things way better than the big book. Unless you need to know the cases straight from the language in the case book, this is just enough to do very well in this class.
