Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
Little Nutbrown Hare wants very much to impress Big Nutbrown Hare with the enormous scale of his devotion, but ends up being the one who's impressed. Subtitled "a pop-up edition," this sturdy square edition of Sam McBratney's ever-popular Guess How Much I Love You is probably better described as a "slide-along edition." Some pages do include pop-ups, but they aren't the best ones; instead, most involve pull-tabs which animate the two rabbits and their surroundings. One of the most appealing scenes simply shows Little Nutbrown Hare hopping up and down. In a purely technical sense this exercise in interactive cardboard technology is well behind some of the competition, but the tale has a timeless charm and the very simplicity of the movements makes it easy for small fingers to waggle the tabs and take control of the story. (Ages 2 to 4) --Richard Farr

Product Description

5 out of 5 stars Favorite Book - Thought it wouldn't be...but it is.   November 24, 2008
I received this book at a baby shower and didn't think much of it. However, my baby boy has favored this book since his birth. It is just the right length, so he doesn't get fussy, and he likes the voices I've made for the the hares. I cannot stress enough that he never fusses when I read it and is completely tuned into the book. I don't know why, but I'll take it.

5 out of 5 stars Guess how much I love this book   November 7, 2008
My mom gave me this book. I was a 20 year old single mother and started reading this book to my son when he was about 4 years old. We would put it away for a couple of days and read something else, but we would always go back to it. My son was asking for the book a couple a months ago. He says he wants to tattoo one of the drawings of Big and Little Nutbrown hare on his chest, near his heart. My son is now 18 years old. I told him I rather he didn't get the tattoo. But, between you and me, when he told me why he wanted the book, it brought a smile to my face.
Well... now my sister and 4 year old niece are enjoining it. Good luck, sis.

5 out of 5 stars Great Book   October 22, 2008
Not only did this book bring back wonderful memories of my mother and I reaching as far as we could reach to show how much we loved eachother, but my son absolutly loves it. It's all in how you read the book. The more fun you put into reading, the better the book will come across. As my 5 month old son gets older, I'm sure we will be standing on our tip-toes reaching up to the sky to show how much we love one another. Those crabby people that said this book only makes it seem like love is a compition, are the same people looking for fault in every childrens show/movie, in order to do what they do best, which is crab. They're looking too much into it. Children do not look at it that way. It's all in good fun!!

3 out of 5 stars Not for my two year old   October 6, 2008

My son who is two had no interest in this book and he loves all types of books from Dr Seuss to the Byron Barton vehicle series. This book was too wordy and slow moving. I also thought it was confusing that the character in the book is a "hare" which is a tough word for a toddler that is already figuring out why sometimes they're called rabbits and other times bunnies! Anyway, we'll save this one for later.

The book was a good price and was delivered promptly. Great service and experience as always.
