Product Description
Now available in large print and Spanish editions, 90 Minutes in Heaven is the runaway best seller of one man's experience with death and life. As Baptist minister Don Piper was driving home from a conference, his car collided with a semi truck that crossed into his lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene. For the next 90 minutes, Piper experienced the glories of heaven, where he was greeted by those who had influenced him spiritually, and he experienced true peace. Back on earth, a passing minister who had also been at the conference was led to pray for the accident victim even though he was told Don was dead. Miraculously, Piper came back to life, and the pleasure of heaven was replaced by a long and painful recovery. For years Don Piper kept his heavenly experience to himself. Finally, friends and family convinced him to share his remarkable story. An inspiring and encouraging account, 90 Minutes in Heaven continues to touch and comfort hundreds of thousands of people around the world as it offers a glimpse of inexpressible heavenly bliss. Now even more people can experience Piper's incredible story through these two new editions.

2 out of 5 stars Simplistic   January 8, 2009

Other than the description of the "Heaven" experience, this is a simplisticly written account of an extended recovery from very severe injuries from an auto accident. A lot of "poor me", followed by Christian testimonial. Some may find it interesting.

4 out of 5 stars Inspiring Story   January 8, 2009

I found "90 Minutes In Heaven" to be very inspiring. I believe it is a true story and find the author to be candid and honest in writing it.
I gave it 4 stars because the book is so short, 30 minutes and a cup of tea to read.
I have purchased it again to include in Birthday cards.

1 out of 5 stars NOT WHAT YOU THINK   January 4, 2009

This book is misleading. This book is about his accident and recovery, not about his time in heaven.

5 out of 5 stars Engaging story   January 1, 2009

90 Minutes in Heaven: An Inspiring Story of Life beyond Death by Don, Piper is a moving story of one man who experienced death for 90 minutes after a fatal car crash. It happens over 40,000 times a year on our highways but regrettably most of those people don't come back with a fantastic story. Don Piper saw the glories of Heaven, some of the people who inspired him in this life and what he describes as true peace. We all hope to experience that someday but we get a glimpse of it now from Pipers' story. I hope it makes people think of how we must all die someday but our soul will go on. It goes on to reap what we sowed.
By the way, I see from reading the reviews on this site some people have recommend my book, "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone," and again I just want them to know how much I appreciate their recommendation, especially at such a excellent site. I wrote this book out of love and for the glory of God and Jesus, not for my own fame or fortune. I welcome people to read my book, I'm sure you'll find this non-fiction account of a loving God just as and inspiring.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   December 30, 2008

I think the title of this book is misleading. There are only 7 pages about heaven. The rest of the book is about his suffering from his accident. While I am sorry that happened, I am disappointed that the book was called 90 MInutes in Heaven with only a few pages telling about it. I think its misleading and trickery. It should say "90 minutes in heaven with only 7 pages to tell about it and then the rest of the book is about my suffering here on earth".
