4 out of 5 stars preschool truck lovers   January 8, 2009
This was a Christmas gift for a young boy who loved the book and enjoyed the DVD as well.

5 out of 5 stars Maybe Too Good   December 16, 2008
My three-year-old son really loves the DVD and the book, in that order. The production value on the DVD surprisingly good. There are lots of songs (not good for singalongs, though), some corny jokes, and most importantly, lots of scooping, dumping action. It's narrated by kids, which I think my son enjoys. He now knows and shouts out all the kinds of construction machines as we pass them in the street and nobody knows what he's talking about because nobody else knows a backhoe loader from a D11-N. Still, good fun for your construction-obsessed little one.
