Not bad short stories July 17, 2008 I really enyoyed the short stories from Shiuko Kano .The illustrations are pretty.Even with the short story format , the characters are pretty strong and plot are not bad at all. I like the cover on this one better than the other manga of this author.
I stoped buying BL titles for a while untill I read a snip it of Shiuko Kano's manga.I always prefered good stories and charcaters and not just becasue it is a BL title. Thank you Shiuko Kano sensei.
Amazing Twisst! July 4, 2008 First of all the art and story were amazing specially the first story. The Author did a very good job on twisting the events between present events and flashing backing the past events and the art really supports it so their no confusion to that. For some people, I understand that It'll be will be hard to understand but for some not at all. I'll recommended this book its a worth buying for your Yaoi Manga collections. If your one of Shiuko Kano Fan try checking out her ArtBook. I hope in the future they'll release it on USA.
Very entertaining January 14, 2008 This was a new author for me, so I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to say that I was very pleased with this book. It's just raw enough to spark my interest, but still retains that boyish sensitivity I've come to love in this art form. I will be pursuing other publications by this author. Thumbs up, etc.

This was really badly written, and the characters aren't very interesting. I do not suggest getting this.
Affair by Shiuko Kano August 10, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a yaoi very different from what I have read till now, more dark and bad behaviour. It's an anthology of 4 stories.
Affair: Yoshi and Sempai were in the same baseball team, but Sempai was the bad boy and Yoshi the good guy. And as the playscript, Sempai got caught in a scandal and quit with baseball. Now he is an women escort and meets again Yoshi, and the heat of a young summer is still hot.
My dear mad dog: Hijiri and Kyouichi are stepbrother, Hijiri son of the mistress of Kyouichi's father. They grown up together and Kyouichi has ever treat Hijiri like a property, something he can use and abuse. But then Kyouichi's mother has a tryst with Hijiri and Hijiri got mad and jealously flares uncontrollable... this is a very dark plot, like a greek drama, full of amoral love and pain/pleasure game (not physical, more emotional)
One lucky guy: Takei is a vey lucky guy but not in love, and when he finds Hirose maybe he will be not lucky in the game, but he will be lucky in love. The less impressive in the story of the anthology, I really don't understand it a lot.
Love machine: Yagi and Tamiya are in the same university and Yagi makes a move with Tamiya but he back off. Then Yagi turns the table and now is Tamiya who chases Yagi around. And when he suspects that Yagi could have another guy, he takes charge of the situation.
Of this four stories without any doubt My Dear Mad Dog is the most interesting and with the better plot. It's also much more adult in content and development of the others. Affair is not bad and the draw is gourgeous: maybe only the cover worths all the yaoi.
