 Great item, excellent price December 2, 2008
Wasn't even 'shopping' for one but saw it on Amazon at a very low price. I already had one with less ports and really needed a bigger one. I am so glad I ordered it--its design is far superior to the one I had and my computer 'liked' it better ;-), i.e. no pop-up messages about how it would work better here or there, etc. I've found it to be an excellent product at an amazingly low price--and thinking about ordering another one. I keep the hub up on my desktop behind the monitor so I have easy access to USB's as I need it. The vender's service was flawless--as I have come to expect from Amazon vendors...which is why I always shop Amazon first.
 Dropped Connections November 24, 2008
First experience with more than a 4-port hub. This one kept dropping my connection. Had to return it.

like many other reviewers have stated, it causes dropouts on some devices. My mouse cut out a few times, my midi keyboard would power but would not send messages, and my iphone always has problems syncing to itunes. I don't feel too cheated at $10, but I would probably invest a little more in something that works.
Worth the money July 2, 2008
I purchased to enhance my "old" puter. What a wonderful product! Great deal and I am now able to use USB jump drives, quickly upload pictures from my camera and even run my printer off this little baby. So glad I got this. About the size of a cell phone, with very little weight. could have been a little heavier to stop it from moving but overall a 5 star product in my book.

I took a piece of 2 sided tape and stuck in on the side of my Dell. It gives me easy access in such a confined space. Good product. Recommend highly.
