DOES NOT WORK WITH VISTA August 3, 2008 This product does not work with Windows Vista. When I got it it would not install properly. I went to D-Link's web site to see if there was an updated driver but it showed that they did not have drivers for Vista. I called D-Link's sales department, as it is impossible to get to a "live person" in their technical support department, and the sales rep told me that they do not have a driver for this device for use on PCs running Vista.
Works on Vista too August 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I gave it 3 stars because the only problem with it is crappy documentation. The Device itself works flawlessly and I give that 5 stars. I have a Vista Machine and i was having problems like others mentioned, However the fixed proved surprisingly easy. I uninstalled all the crap the disc installed on my pc. Works flawlessly ever since, connected a Bluetooth Logitech Mediaboard Pro and a Cellphone and it works great.
So for any others who cant get it working on vista do yourself a favor and throw the manual and the disc out and trust vista to install it and set the bluetooth for Discoverable mode.
D-Link good to go for Macs July 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only one tested by Apple that works with new Apple Bluetooth mouse and keyboard devices. A must.
Worked Great...I Think?? June 18, 2008 I bought this so I could connect my samsung/t mobile 429 cell phone to my pc. Found out my cell phone will only connect to a bluetooth headset and cannot connect to my pc via bluetooth. I sent the item back but it seemed to work just fine. FYI check your manual before buying this item for cell phone.
Does the job June 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to use the Apple wireless keyboard with my Mac Pro and had no problems at installation by following the instructions on Apples site. It has been in use a few weeks now and still working well.
