Small but works great November 16, 2008 This product is small and awkward but it works great if I use my broken notebook cooler as a base for it! It's not really made for using your laptop on your lap but rather on a table
A good product while it lasted October 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good product and kept the notebook cool while in use. it props up the notebook and it was easy to type while on an angle. But the little wire broke off after four months of use. I sent it back to Antec they replaced it with a different model.
I think the device is designed for a laptop that has its USB port on the left side of the computer. If you are able to plug it into the left side of your laptop it doesn't create as much stress on the cord. My USB ports are on the right side and this caused stress on the cord, which is why it broke.
Not the best but it works June 29, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This cooler tilts the back of the computer up and then has fans which blow hot air out from underneath the computer. It works pretty well except that our computer has a hotspot on the front left corner and this area remains warm though not as hot as before.
BEST PORTABLE LAPTOP COOLER OUT THERE June 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pros: Light, portable, hi and low settings, excellent cooling, USB port for other cables.
Cons: Weird cabling on the USB port interferes with other cables hooked to the laptop.
For those laptops that get infamously hot (esp. Apple's Powerbook G4s and the MacBook and MacBook Pros) really need this cooler. I've had other cooling pads, but with 2 big fans, this really does the job. Plus you can carry it with you in your computer bag without the extra weight (unlike those "full-size" pads). I have 2 of these so of course, I highly recommend them.
Would definitely recommend this product June 20, 2008 This being a portable cooler, i had my apprehensions about its reliability. But after using the product, i can say for sure that its a fine product. The best feature are the quiet fans and speed control. The build quality too is good and would definitely be reliable. With the cooler used, the bottom of the notebook and the air from the vents felt cool. Without the cooler, i could feel the warmth and warm air exiting the vents from the sides. Definitely serves its purpose.
