Just wish it came with a case September 3, 2008 As far as the micro SD card goes, it works just fine.
Drawbacks: Since this only comes with the SD adapter, you'll need to make sure that either your card reader for your PC is SDHC compatible, or you'll need to also purchase a SDHC or micro SDHC USB card reader. If you don't have any SDHC compatible readers, you won't be able to transfer data to/from your computer to this card.
Secondly, while this card comes with the full-size adapter, it does not come with a case. If you'll always have the card in your camera, phone, etc, this might not be a big issue for you, but I still think a case would be nice to at least store the adapter.
Third, in my card reader, the adapter was very hard to pull out. This was partly an issue with my card reader, as it doesn't allow very much of the full-size SD card to stick out, but the adapter also seemed very tight in the reader compared to regular SD cards.
As for the speed, I haven't done any specific testing, but nothing made me feel the card was slow. I'm using it in an M3 DS real for a Nintendo DS, and haven't had any compatibility issues.
Overall, it works well with a couple minor drawbacks. For the price it was the best deal at the time, though I would've paid a bit more if it came with a case and an SDHC reader.
Micro card works, but not the converter... September 1, 2008 The micro card works just fine in my Nokia E51, but the converter card will not work in my computer, which makes transferring data to the phone a bit of a pain, but still possible. I would have given this a 5 if the converter would have worked.
Wow! August 26, 2008 Fits right into my phone and mp3 player, and into my computer, with the adapter. The class 6 speed is great.
Works well August 14, 2008 Works well with my Motorola Z9 cell phone, and with an adapter, my Canon PowerShot S5-IS camera. Also did well with a Kingston USB Micro Secure Digital Reader. I have several other Transcend products and they seem to be pretty good.
Cheap price, good speed. August 9, 2008 This Transcend works fine on my Sprint Mogul phone. Good price and does its job well. Class 6 gives high speed when used with my SD card reader on my camera. Unlike my camera, mogul's SD card reader cant use up nearly 1/10 of the class 6 speed for transfering.
