Gread DVD - John still "has it" July 29, 2008 This DVD is a great accumilation of John Forgerty's individual talent, plus great remditions of the Credence Clearwater days!
excellent July 24, 2008 If you like Credence , this is the next best thing. Both the camera work and sound are five star . We were at the last show of this tour , in Seattle, and thoroughly enjoyed it . I highly advise getting this one !

Pure rock'n'roll!!! June 4, 2008 Fantastic!!! That's what I call rock'n'roll! Great video and sound, John is absolutely having a great time on the stage. Great performance, fabulous music! One of my favorite DVD concerts.
Old Fogerty you say? Nope. Just like new! March 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just received this DVD from Amazon and I'm totally thrilled with it. I knew it would be great, just HOW great I didn't. As others have observed, John Fogerty seems not to have aged a day since CCR were at their height. He leaps and jumps around the stage, all the while never missing a lick on his guitar and barely raising a sweat. John and his tight band take a run through most of CCR's hits and several of John's solo songs.
When you've got a concert like this with practically every song known and most a classic at that, it's hard to pick a favorite moment. My favorite CCR song is "Born on the Bayou" and it's excellently represented here, but my favorite song in this particular concert DVD may be "Keep On Chooglin'" and here's why: John starts out doing a classical run on his guitar before launching in the song, where he sings lead (of course) and plays harmonica. For me, it's just the highest spot of the concert in a concert full of many. The little classical bit is just a tease of how talented this man is.
I've seen Fogerty's Premonition concert and it's excellent also. I can't pick between the two. But I recommend either one very highly. And The Long Road Home is available at a premium price, so snatch it up. You'll be cranking your home system way up and shaking the walls! It doesn't get better than this for classic rock that still lives and breathes with vitality.
A Concert "Best"! January 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having just seen John Fogerty live in Dallas, I was impressed with the obvious joy he seemed to have in performing. As a college kid, Creedence was a favorite band.
Fogerty was one of a long line of concerts to which I've taken my wife and Mom,(Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor) and we all agreed he was the most enthusiastic and fun. He seemed as if he would play for free just for the enjoyment. I was pleased when his wife brought out a cake with candles to announce that Revival had been nominated for a Grammy for album of the year,
This DVD captures much of Fogerty's enthusiasm and on-stage personna. It's been a joy to watch (and watch and watch).
