 Bland! October 24, 2008
I really expected more from this artist given her past successes, but this CD was too too "romanticos". It was a little on the dull side.

Who is a better ranchera singer, Linda Ronstadt or Lola Beltran? Lola has a deeper voice, but both can certainly belt out a song! It's hard to say who is better. It's like choosing between Pavarotti and Placido Domingo.
The sad fact, though, is that the fidelity of most of Lola's albums is very low...they sound like they were recorded on a home tape recorder. And since she has now passed away, there will never be any new recordings.

Linda Ronstadt, has done it agian. Very good music you can join your friends around a fire and just enjoy her songs for hours.
