Touched! December 13, 2008
This DVD really touched and moved me, it is one of the BEST live gospel DVD's that I have ever seen. Just recovering from cancer surgery, it was just the medicine that I needed. If you need a uplifting, you need to buy and review this DVD. Thank you Paster Shirley!
"Shirley is Still Getting Her Praise on" January 7, 2008
A Simply outstanding CD from Shirley Caesar. It has some preaching, teaching, and great music. This has to be the best CD she has ever made. Every song is uplifitng and has a message. Ths choir also complements the CD nicely. I would strongly recommend this CD even if you are not a Shirley Caesar fan - but enjoy great gospel music.

At almost 70 years old, 11 Grammy's, and 40 years as a solo artist, you would expect Shirley Caesar to slow down or loose a little in the voice after all these years. Not the case. It just keeps getting better.
This album is over 70 minutes of Shirley Caesar at her finest. If you have been waiting for a live album where Shirley cuts loose and shows out all of her talent and vocal power, this is the album. It is hard core traditional gospel done as only Shirley can.
Each song is a winner and while the numbers have been done before on studio albums, she sings them here as if for the first time. Even the live number 'hold my mule' is done fresh and new as if for the first time.
This album with have you dancing, crying, praying, and getting down and should appeal to music lovers of all ages. Get it. You will not be disapointed.
