Liked Eyra Gail's Remake better August 29, 2004 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just recently listened to Erin Hamilton's remake of the old Cheap Trick song I thought it was a good song, but I must confess that I like Eyra Gail's remake better
Excellent Re-Make February 16, 2000 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an excellent, well-sung, dancable re-make of the Cheap Trick original. I can't believe I finally found it on CD!
A groovin' anthem that will bring a smile to your face May 26, 1999 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I first heard Hamilton's cover of "The Flame" while I was on Spring Break in Atlanta, Georgia. It was about 4 am and the crowd was in the middle of refresher break at Backstreet. The DJ cued up Flame and hit the lights. Needless to say, this feel good beat filled the floor in a second. It was as if the song could lift you from the dancefloor through the 4 story ceiling. Crowds are loving to hear remakes of old favorites and Hamilton was able to merge Cheap Trick with the modern sense of style possessed by the clubs of today. If you hear this song and your body doesn't move, go to a doctor...there is something wrong with you!!! Get out and buy it now, this one is gonna be huge...especially when it moves in the mainstream clubs.
