Multi-platinum recording artist Barenaked Ladies will release Snacktime, a collection of 24 original children's songs through their imprint label Desperation Records. "Our collective kids now outnumber the band more than 2 to 1," explains vocalist/guitarist Ed Robertson. "We set out to make a record that would be entertaining for them … not strictly a children's record, but a record that children would really enjoy. Our kids are into all kinds of music. Making the focus about what our kids like was a truly liberating process and fun for the whole band."

 Great CD that's very kid appropriate July 7, 2008
I bought this as an impulse purchase, looking for children's music that was worthy of adult ears, and I hit the jackpot! There are some really catchy songs that stand on their own for entertainment without even needing the added lure of being a children's album.

I bought Snack Time for my son who is 10 months old. This is a great CD - catchy tunes that we both enjoy. BNL are witty and hilarious with their lyrics. The music is great for a little one, but adults can enjoy it as well. Totally worth the money - I imagine this being a CD that we enjoy for years to come!

The varied musical styles are impressive, and keep both kids and adults moving and singing along with these tunes written for kids.
Best CD ever! July 5, 2008
I bought this CD just knowing it would be good because the Bare Naked Ladies made it and it was even better than I expected. Each song is unique and wonderful. My daughter loves it and it's an all around family favorite. We even listen to it in the car when she isn't with us! Must have!

love the cd. My 5 year old son love alphabet song. Heard about it on manicmommies podcast, my favorite!
