| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Ann, from Minnesota, is recognized as the foremost exponent of the wire-strung harp in the world. The wire-strung harp, or clarsach, was the harp of the Gaels of Ireland and Scotland. Through her knowledge of traditional music from her Irish American family background, and her study of the surviving music and manuscripts, Ann has re-invented the techniques necessary to play this majestic instrument.

Err. . . .not quite February 20, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I don;t own this album but I believe it that it is SCOTTISH harp music. (Not Irish). Similar but there are some significant differences.
absolutely stunning! January 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great example of historical Irish harp music, beautifully played on the wire-strung Celtic harp. The results are absolutely stunning - buy it now!
very good August 18, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like rock or string quartets usually, but this harp album stands out as very nice!
I don't know enough to say much more, sorry. But it is better than other harp albums I have heard.
