Pleasant song from Sarah February 23, 2008 A nice song from Sarah Brightman with Chris Thompson. Not a brilliant song, but easy on the ears. Sarah fans will enjoy it a lot. Track 02 is an instrumental version.
Better than the album version February 10, 2008 Since other reviewers have gone into detail about the single itself, I'm going to skip that and compare this version with the version that we find on Symphony (the actual album). In this release, Sarah Brightman reunites with Chris Thompson (with whom she sang "How Can Heaven Love Me" on Fly). In the version of the song on Symphony, she sings it with Paul Stanley.
While I thought it was really cool that Sarah sings with Paul Stanley, the novelty wore off and I found myself back to listening to this version. My gripes with the album version were that Paul's voice overpowers Sarah's voice at certain points and that, overall, there was an emotional disconnect between Paul and Sarah. On this version, however, Chris Thompson brings a rock feel without overpowering the song. His voice is smoother, more romantic, and softer in a good way. Plus, the two singers sing together more often than Sarah does with Paul on the album version. Where this version wins out is in the delivery. Chris and Sarah sound more believable as lovers singing a duet--the emotions are present here.
If you like the song, this version is worth hunting down to hear Chris Thompson's interpretation.
First single after many years. August 24, 2007 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is the new song of Ms.Brightman and I have some mixing feelings:
*Always nice music and very easy beatiful song. *The voice of Sarah B. is very childish and whispery in the versus, the chorus is ok.I don't Know if this childish voice bother me or not.it is too sweet. *Chris Thompson ,I like his voice.
A sincer Fan.
Nice but not "All That" August 8, 2007 29 out of 32 found this review helpful
Bought mine & received it from Amazon. I didn't hear any previews or full versions of it, prior to or after buying the CD because I didn't want to spoil the surprise. Ok, as for the artwork, the disc is housed in a standard Jewelcase with front & back inserts and a loose turquoise OBI strip. The four-sided front insert (booklet) features the song lyrics in Japanese and English. Inside the 'booklet' you'll see Sarah in the left, walking through the desert in her peekaboo dress complete with her breast-cage bra from the "Eden" era. This photo was taken at the time of the "La Luna" photoshoot and can be found in the tourbook from the same album. The front cover of the booklet features Sarah in one of her "La Luna" CD booklet photos with appropriate text/titling photoshopped on top of it.
Because IWBWY is a new Sarah Brightman song, new artwork might have been taken into consideration. I like her new "GLAM" image and was kind of expecting something more like that, considering she made this duet with her rock-buddy Chris Thompson. The CD itself is simple. Silver disc with blue text/loop around the inside of the CD's edge.
Sound quality, orchestrations and acoustic guitar are all great, but I'm not sure whether this song will remain on my ipod for long. Other fans are loving this new music quite a lot, and I guess I feel this way because Sarah does sing more in her lower range, exactly like on "What You Never Know", rather than using her trademark bel canto style. Chris Thompson's voice is strong as ever and I always wondered what had become of him since the "How Can Heaven Love Me' duet from Sarah's "Fly" CD. Because Sarah does sing in her lower range, she's nearly drowned out by Chris and the orchestration until she reaches her "I will be with you" part. Well, for the price of the CD, it's worth having because it is new music from Sarah, and it's a collector's item anyway. As for whether this track will show up on Sarah's upcoming CD, who cares? I'd rather be surprised by all new stuff, personal to the artist herself. I'm still anticipating the new album, but won't hold my breath regarding whether or not this track will be on it.

Amazing Single. New Sarah Brightman Material July 27, 2007 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I just got this new CD Single of Sarah Brightman, and wow, the song is so amazing and the sound quality is incredible. I really can't compare Sarah's to Sissel's versions because both are wonderful.
I'm a huge Sarah fan and I'm so glad to hear her new material. I can't wait for her new album. This single features the "movie version" of the song, so I believe there's gonna be a different version in her new album, can't wait! :D
Hope you, those who buys this CD, will enjoy it as much as I did!
