Warm & Fuzzy January 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Highly recommended. If ever someone needed help unwinding, it's me. I've found several disks that help with that: Misty Forest Morning, Heart of Peace and this, among others. I have to say Soothing Sanctuary is one that I go back to most frequently. It is just beautiful and peaceful, tranquil, soothing, you know all those warm and fuzzy things. Glad I have it.
serene and uplifting January 7, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is one of my favorite ambient albums! Steve and David Gordon do an excellent job of creating a beautiful and relaxing environment through music. I love to put this album on my iPod and practice my yoga or early morning stretches.
Refreshing and Satisfying December 29, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is one of the top mellow moment-creating disks ever. These artists certainly know how to do it as this isn't my first of this type by them (I also really dig Heart of Peace). This one however is really a trickle of bliss. I have to say that winding down to this takes not only the edge off faster but I feel refreshed, well rested. My meditation in relaxation is more...satisfying.
A true beauty December 18, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an absolute beauty. It seriously creates just what it says it does: A Soothing Sanctuary. The sounds of nature and gentle instrumentals create this feeling of being surrounded by peace and nature: not easily done, a great find. Another great is Perfect Balance: Musical Healing, Vol. 2.
A top album for my Yoga December 15, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Truly, truly soothing. I think it's perfect for morning yoga even before my coffee. Helps me get going gently before stepping into the harsh world of traffic and cement. A great album for waking up or winding down. Of course another great is Musical Healing. It's also got really gentle melodies and soft nature sounds as well.
