5 out of 5 stars Love classic movie music? Then you'll adore this!   June 29, 2008
As a die-hard John Williams fan, I was happily surprised to find that George Fentor, composer, was in the same category of excellence. If you liked the music from Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, or E.T., you'll like this as well.

1 out of 5 stars No "Danny Boy" by Harry Conick Jr.   February 4, 2006

I too was looking for the jazzed up version of "Danny Boy" By Harry Conick Jr. but, sadly, it was not included. Too bad, because it was a great rendition of a classic song.

1 out of 5 stars a disappointment   November 19, 2005

I purchased the CD because I was expecting to get two songs performed by Harry Connick,Jr. Namely, "Danny Boy", and "Amazing Grace". These were after all,in the movie! When you open then paper CD jacket there is a picture of Harry Connick, Jr. at the piano. But that's all of Harry Connick your going to get with this CD because the songs are missing. What a rip off. It is the "bait and switch" at it's finest I must say.

4 out of 5 stars Watch The Film First   August 3, 2005

I bought this CD because I enjoyed the film. Simple as that. Most of the music is here and as with any soundtrack album the music is reasonably varied. Like I said in my title, watch the film first. If you like the score by George Fenton, here it is!

Hi I have seen the movie, its close to the original.I dont think you want all the original to be in the movie. It will not have a nice closing.I now help crew the Memphis belle that made the movie. I love what I do! I have met capt. Bob Morgan and his wife a few times very nice people. The music is great, and easy listening. I would recomend bying the dvd from Amazon.com.
thank you
