Lisa lampanelli is hilarious. too bad she burned all her loyal lampahoohas after only four months of her fan club being open.

She is the female version of Andrew Dice Clay! I can't remember when I laughed so hard and so much. Lisa Lampanelli is the funniest female comic around. This stand up will be around for decades whenever I or anyone else needs a good, strong, laugh!

There's no doubt about Lisa Lampanelli being funny. She's clever and dirty and focuses a lot on race - territory a lot of comedians don't dear to tread, thus giving more freedom for Lampanelli to own the title "Queen of Mean." She's a reoccurring guest on the Howard Stern Show and participates in lots of roasts where she often stands out as one of the quickest and funniest comedian. The roasts of Pamela Anderson, William Shatner and Flavor Flav are good examples of this.
This DVD has no extras, but is worth its bargain price. The aspect ratio is not 1.33:1 (4:3) as suggested on the DVD box and on amazon - it's in the regular 16:9 widescreen format.
What I really dislike about the cover images provided by amazon is that the PMRC's "Parental Advisory" logos aren't always part of the cover image, but that it's printed on the actual product that you get in the mail. That is the case of this DVD and many other DVD's and CD's, such as Patton Oswalt's "Werevolves and Lollipops" (that one has TWO!) I hate the FCC and the PMRC with all my heart and do not wish to own anything that has the PMRC warning printed on it, but unfortunately I now do (the two aforementioned products...but that's not bad out of 1000+ CD's/DVD's.) Anway, amazon should shape up and provide information of the cover art of CD's and DVD's being ruined by that awfully off-putting black and white "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content/Lyrics" logos. I don't see it on bibles... Ugh...
Anyway, the show is 59 minutes, the audio quality is very good and the image quality is pretty good, the DVD has no extras, but is worth the money. The performance is shot at the Improv in Hollywood and it's very easy to sink into the comedy club environment right from the start of the show. A lot of laughs - 4/5.

Call her whatever you want, Lisa Lampenelli is funny. Nobody is safe from her caustic humor. But, it's all in fun. A funny sidesplitting time is had by all. I'll watch this one again and again.
