5 out of 5 stars Awesome remixes!   June 12, 2008
Madonna is the queen of pop/club/techno and disco music! I just can't have enough Madonna...Love her mucho! Madonna always have me redesigning my dance moves, my fashion styles (hair/clothing, etc.), or something else like exercising regimes! I swear. Every time I load up my MP3 player with a Madonna tune (remix or single), I want to explore something entirely new and different right away. Madonna is a strong motivator in a large way. Vive Madonna!!

3 out of 5 stars Madonna is still the master   November 6, 2007
It is rare indeed that the original 'album' version of a song is superior than the mixes from renowned djs whose work comes weeks or months later. Most of the mixes (on cd singles) that stemmed from "Music" and "American Life" were superior than the original versions. They were freshly reinterpreted and a bit more polished as danceable tracks making most of the original edits somewhat forgettable.

But I must say that the original versions of each track on "Confessions" leave little room for improvement. "Sorry" is no different and are only slight variations from each other and the album edit. I enjoy this cd thoroughly but found little need to look beyond the original.

5 out of 5 stars YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   June 14, 2007

This is the BEST song from Confessions On A Dance Floor and one of the best songs ever! (in my opinion, anyway! =)
1. (Single Edit) The single edit was basically just the original without the 3 "I heard it all before"s at the end)

2. (Man With Guitar Edit) My FAVORITE version of Sorry, hands down. It is also one of my favorite songs. It's just so beautiful! I have the full length mix, too. (iTunes)

3. (PSB Maxi-Mix) I LOVE the Pet Shop Boys! This sounds just like one of they're awesome songs!

4. (Paul Okenfold Remix) This one's okay overall, but it kinda bores me a little. But Paul Oakenfold is still one of my faves! (Next to Madonna, Peter Rauhofer, Cher, ATB, Kaskade, and Almighty!)

5. (Green Velvet Remix) No offense or anything, but Green Velvet sucks--bad.

6. Let It Will Be (Paper Faces Vocal Edit) OMG!!! My FAVORITE SONG EVER!!!! AMAZING!!!

YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Pet Shop Boys Mix is the Best   January 11, 2007

Finally, Madonna let Pet Shop Boys mix one of her songs! I hope that the collaboration extends to other projects. This is a "MUST HAVE" for Pet Shop Boys fans.

3 out of 5 stars Interesting tracks but craptacular recording quality   January 11, 2007

I am a big fan of the tracks on this disc as far a cheesy dance goes, but the levels are all out of whack. There is clipping in a few of the tracks that make the disc pretty unbearable. Its kind of sad because the even the vinyl version has the same recording issues. I was hoping the CD would be better.
