Finally! A long overdue live album from a much underated band! January 6, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's about time! I first came across this band the year they released their debut, 1988 (Oh my god, that's 20 years ago, meaning their debut is now considered classic rock!). I have remained a fan ever since. They have put out very good stuff through the years, but never a live album - until now. The only concerns I have with this one is the following: a.) it's too short (that is, I would have liked to have heard more classics from "Demons Down", as well as newer stuff like "Rock Bottom"), and b.) the quality of the recording sounds "too good" (not live enough, an almost studio quality sound). Other than that, I think it is a good compilation for people who are now discovering this band. Now all we have to do is wait another 12 years or so for the "best of.." collection to finally be released...Until then...
