Editorial Reviews:

Description
Asia, featuring members of Yes, ELP and King Crimson, was the first supergroup of the eighties. Their eponymous debut album, released in 1982, was a huge success racking up global sales in excess of 15 million copies. In 2006 the original four members reunited for the first time in over 20 years for a series of concerts in the US and the UK. The success of this tour led to a full-blown world tour running throughout 2007 in celebration of their 25th anniversary. This DVD was recorded in Tokyo in March 2007 on the Japanese leg of the tour.

5 out of 5 stars Only Time Will Tell   July 15, 2008
And, indeed, time has told us that Asia still can hold an audience captive....what an amazing DVD! I was a huge fan back in '82 and '83 and even though the line-up changed a bit throughout following the years, there is no version of Asia better than John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, and Carl Palmer. All are in prime form during this performance. A must have for ANY Asia fan!

5 out of 5 stars Finally, Asia in Asia!   June 29, 2008

Time flies. It's been 25 years from the sensational Asia in Asia tour in Tokyo. I was there last time, it was very nice stage, but John Wetton was not there. I was so disappointed about it. Now all original members are coming back. Yes, they got old (especially Steve Howe), but their sounds are still alive. Although some songs are arranged to acoustic version (The smile has left your eyes, Don't cry,...), their performance is totally high quality. Surprisingly, every song is performed by only four old boys, John, Steve, Jeff and Carl. No other musicians helped them. "Video killed the radio star" by Asia is so nice. If you were excited about "Heat of the moment" 25 years ago, must watch the DVD!

3 out of 5 stars Asia Live in Tokyo   June 22, 2008
I purchased Asia's DVD and double CD Live in Tokyo cause I have Albums , Vinyl of King Crimsom & Yes and Steve Howe has a reputation for being an excellent guitarist so bought Asia's first CD in years Phoenix and wasn't disappointed and as for the DVD of Asia Live in Tokyo , good if you're a fan 3 and a half out of 5 .

5 out of 5 stars Good recording   June 7, 2008
Sounds great and camera work is good. Would have liked more extras, maybe some footage from the tour. Great to see them back

5 out of 5 stars Thank Heavens Asia Is Back!   June 3, 2008
I recently saw Asia at the Music Mill in Indianapolis, and had forgotten just how good they are. John Wetton still has that voice. Carl, Steve and Geoff were in top form. I couldn't wait to get this DVD, and I wasn't disappointed. This is the same show I had seen! If you like Asia, buy this DVD. The concert is not a huge production with flashing lights and glitz. It's about the music, and the incredible songs they created. Enjoy!!!!!
