Amazon.com Welcome to the Dollhouse, Danity Kane's upcoming sophomore album, finds the ladies hotter than ever. The set is the follow-up to their blockbuster debut, which made a spectacular #1 debut on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart upon its initial 2006 release. Fueled by the top 10 smash, "Show Stopper," the self-titled album went on to achieve RIAA platinum certification for U.S. sales exceeding one million units. Now, with their new single, "DAMAGED," Danity Kane have more than matched their Cinderella story debut, crafting an irresistible collection of new hits in association with such studio superstars as Danja, Stereotypes, Bryan Michael Cox, and Seven Aurelius (LL Cool J, Ashanti, Vanessa Carlton).

Welcome to DK's House June 28, 2008 When WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE was released on March 18, 2008, it sold more than the first album [which is also a banger]. The CD includes lots of different types of songs like the off beat KEY TO MY HEART to catchy tunes of 2 OF YOU... This CD is enjoyable to all extents.
1. Welcome to the Dollhouse Intro [Diddy] - [**] Could have done with out Diddy - the girls should have intro'd their own CD
2. Bad Girl - [****] Killa Song from the beginning to the end.. The intro to the song makes you come into a trance and the melodic vocals are something else MISSY ELLIOTT just adds more to the track with her rap Great song and great way to open the album
3. Damaged - [***] Catchy song. good first single.
4. Pretty Boy [*****************] - Love the beat to this song. My top song of the album. Dawn's voice is something else. It has that catchy beat and tune to jam to banging.. should be third single
5. Strip Tease [************] - Another FAVE of the album the intro makes you want to do something naughty and Dawns verse is great.. Makes for a good club song
6. Sucka for Love [****] its a pretty catchy song.. good cruising music something to bob your head to
7. Secret Place (Interlude) [****] I don't understand DK sometimes... their interludes can be songs and if they were songs they would be banging its short and sweet makes you want more
8. Ecstasy [***] Although not one of my favorites on the album its pretty decent. Grows on you
9. 2 of You [** 1/2] ONE OF THOSE SONGS THAT HAS TO GROW ON YOU.. I will have to say one of the worst records on the album but can't help to listen to it.
10. Lights Out [******] Number 4 on my list of good songs on this album.
11. Picture This (Interlude) [***] its a pretty poem that Aubrey and D. Woods put together.
12. Poetry [****] Number Five on my list. Its a good song to just sit back and think about life
13. Key to My Heart [****] Something really different. The beat draws you in and takes you to another place. Good production in all
14. Flashback (Interlude) [*** 1/2] Its a good interlude.. Could have been a full length song
15. Is Anybody Listening [****] Really good song. Most heard on the tv show knew it was going to be a decent track. Another sit back and think song.

Is Anybody Listening...? June 12, 2008 It's amazing how quick people judge music these days, without giving it a good chance at the very least thinking it was a good effort. I see a lot of reviews, mostly ones that sounds like they know what they're talking about, but we all know they just hatin'. An honest review has to show pros & cons, and an overall opinion, so that's what I'm gonna give you!
"Welcome To The Dollhouse" is certainly a welcoming effort. This album features growth and maturity among each of the female vocalists, as well as strength and professionalism as a musical group. They fought hard to make something of this album, something that doesn't just label it as "sophmore album". They wanted to show how they feel, what they know, and what kinds of songs that they believed in for this album, and it paid off. This has got to be one of the best albums this year!
"Damaged" was a brilliant choice for the first single. Although, it hasn't yet to hit #1 spot, this particular tracks is so much different compared to their previous singles. The thumping beat, electronic sounds, and beautiful vocals - this where Pop music is going. A club tracks with emotional lyrics, amazing! I'm impressed with the up-beat club tracks they really wanted to have, such as, "Bad Girl" featuring the notorious Missy Elliott, "Pretty Boy" produced by Nate 'Danja' Hills which got me dancing on the spot, and "Striptease" with their sensual and Siren-like vocals. Their mid-tempo tracks definitely struck harder than your usual mid-tempo songs, such as, "Sucka For Love" with it's catchy lyrics and 90's sound which is worthy of a single release, and "Ecstacy" featuring Rick Ross which has cool vocals and a smooth groove. One particular song that I felt stood out the most, was the fan-favourite, "Poetry". This is a beautiful ballad which showcases the girls' vocal potential. Emotional, raw and straight from the heart. I must admit I shed a little tear while listening to it.
As much as I believe this to be an amazing album, it does have bumps in the road. As we all know interludes tend to distract the listening pleasure while listening to an album, but I think they did it nicely, especially with "Secret Place", which I felt could've been recorded as a full song. The other interludes served their purpose, but got kind of bored 20 seconds in. "2 Of You" and "Key To My Heart" really didn't leave much of an impact. "2 Of You" is indeed catchy with an infectious beat, but I felt this wasn't a great song for Danity Kane, and for the album. As for "Key To My Heart", the verses sound off-key along with the beat not having much of a steady rhythm, but the whole song was dull and didn't really capture enough emotion to what the song was trying to portray.
I love this album, I feel it's an overall great effort. There could have been better songs, but no matter what any of us think, ultimately it's up to the artists and the producers. And as far as we know, they're all happy with the product and it is definitely worth buying!
Don't Buy the Hype! June 6, 2008 Vocally, these girls are talented indviduals; yet, together, they are very hit or miss (depending on the song). This album is full of bad song choices that often sounds like a 5-woman singing competition instead of a group. It also seems that DK is still searching for an identity; sometimes they want to be pop, sometimes R & B, sometimes a messy mix of both. I don't like "Damagaed" and that is one of the album's best songs. I wouldn't bother buying this cd; download a few songs before you waste ten dollars.
I loved their new cd May 29, 2008 Honestly, I loved this cd. I was kind of skeptical about it considering they are a tv made band, and even though their first cd was great, I just didn't think that they could do it again. I was soooo wrong. These girls are definitely a force to be reckoned with, and they have definitely proven themselves to be more than just Diddy's girls. A job well done.
good voices May 28, 2008 I think the girls have very good voices. If you pay attention to the songs you can notice that this confluence of voices creates a very pleasant atmosphere and it delights your mind.
