| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Since 2002's jaunty Waiting for My Rocket to Come, Jason Mraz has developed into a more mature, well-rounded pop artist. We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things is his most multi-dimensional work yet, covering everything from groove-based material to ballads. While tracks such as "Make It Mine" and "Butterfly" refer back to the catchy style of previous albums, there are many other styles and textures on display here. His duet with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky," for example, explores his folkish, acoustic side, as does the compelling "Details in the Fabric," both of which are excellent songs. Mraz gets a little more experimental on "Coyotes," which toys with a clubby electronica and strangely seems to work, and on "The Dynamo of Volition" for which he employs a hectic, rapping-style of vocal over a typically contagious rhythm. His ballads, such as "Love For A Child", "If It Kills Me" and "Beautiful Mess" (these last two saved for the end) show a more sensitive side and even when his lyrics are occasionally clumsy, Mraz manages to make his point in an emotive way. Easy-going and sunny, but with laudable elements of depth and innovation, this is Mraz at his best so far.--Danny McKenna

Daaaa Da Dee Dee... GREAT TUNES!! August 17, 2008 AWESOME MUSIC ALL THE WAY THROUGH... ESPECIALLY "I'M YOURS." MY 16 MONTH OLD EVEN DANCES WHEN WE PLAY IT!!!
We Sing, We Dance, We Steal August 13, 2008 What a GREAT CD! I hadn't heard of the artist before "I'm Yours" began to get alot of airplay. As a matter of fact, it was difficult to locate the musician because of the spelling of his last name. It was trial and error. Then I purchased the CD and got immediately hooked. What a talent! There isn't a bad cut on the entire musical offering. The artist may not like this description, but what a "feel good" CD.

Pleasantly Surprised July 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not really sure why I bought this album in particular. I already had the new Coldplay CD in my cart and wanted to add another CD just to try something new and also to qualify for the free shipping. I was expecting to love the coldplay CD and wasn't expecting much out of Jason Mraz. It turned out to be the exact opposite!
With that said, I must say I am happily surprised by Jason Mraz's album. This isn't really my "type of music" to begin with, but Jason Mraz really offers something musically satisfying. I haven't heard anything that sounds like this prior to listening to this album.
Good job Jason!
disappointing July 30, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was so excited to hear Jasons new CD! I have been a die hard fan for years! Seen him in concert 3 times! I love his sound and clever lyrics....but this CD does not live up to his others! I think he tried too hard or something. The Jason Mraz I fell in love with is not present in this CD. I am so bummed! Just wanted to warn you....It's very disappointing!
