Pure Excellence !!! January 22, 2008
This album was actually the second album followed by " Dog Years "
which is equally as great. The first Album was " Bluest Eyes " which has some great cuts on it but not nearly the collection of awesome Blues/Rock that the latter two showcase !!!
If you enjoy great music that makes you feel good AND wanna move,...these Storyville albums are worth every single penny !!!!
Malford, coupled with the great lead and rhythm guitars AND Stevie's Double Trouble ??? C'MON ??? IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER !!!!!

Good Day For The Blues October 20, 2007
Malford Milligan's voice touches my soul and takes me back to the time when I first experienced the effect that blues had on me. His song's and the way he sing's them is real and down to earth just as he is and in my opinion, He's one of the greatest Blues singer's of all time!
A Piece Of Your Soul August 18, 2007
Bitter Rain and A Good Day For The Blues are two of my all time favorites, of any genre. For all those lamenting the breakup of these guys, you can now rejoice in the fact that they're back together. I know because I saw them in concert last night. They were absolutely terrific. If you get the chance don't miss them. Hopefully this means there will be a CD of new music forthcoming (other than the 2 new cuts on their recent live DVD). I'd go see them again tonight if they were playing here again.

All I can say is,the world needs more of Storyville. A DVD at Austin City Limits, new album, whatever. They just weren't done yet. Great great stuff!!
