Album Description Los Angeles native singer/songwriter Marie Digby has caused a stir in cyberspace and the media with a series of highly successful music video performances on YouTube. Combining her own material and her own unique take on songs written by other artists, Marie has built a devoted following of fans all over the world with 15 million (and counting) views of her clips. Starting in Los Angeles, there's been a mini-explosion of attention as radio stations have found first her version of "Umbrella" and now her single "Say It Again", fresh and winning. NBC's Carson Daly had Marie perform on his show August 2. With sold out shows at L.A. nightspots, select national dates with Brett Dennen, nationwide radio hits, a growing media profile (including features in the Rolling Stone "Hot" issue, New York Times, Spin, Lucky, Wall Street Journal, Girl's Life, Cosmo Girl and L.A. Times) plus songs that people just can't get enough of, 2008 is shaping up to be a great year for Marie Digby. Her debut album "Unfold" is an April 8, 2008 release. Marie is also one of 5 artists to be featured in GAP'S spring 2008 ad campaign "Colors". Marie's EP "Start Here" and Christmas single "Bring Me Love" are currently available online. Marie (pr. Mahr-ee-ay)
Album Description Import pressing features four bonus tracks, Stupid For You (Acoustic), Say It Again (Acoustic), Better Off Alone (Acosutic) and Umbrella (Acoustic). Digby's first official single, "Say It Again" is on her debut album, Unfold. 16 tracks in all. Universal. 2008.

A True Soft-Rocker September 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Kudos to Marie(MAHR-ee-ay) Digby for being the first true new female artist to emerge in the soft-rock genre in a long time. Nothing "Alternative" about this CD. This bona-fide "easy-rock" (adult contemporary) all the way. Ms. Digby is multitalented as she wrote all but one of the songs on the disk, and plays about FIVE different instruments(guitar{accoustic & electric, piano, synthesizer, Rhodes}.)! Marie also has one of the loveliest voices I've heard in a long time, sort of borderline high alto/soprano.
My Favs: Say It Again Better Off Alone Traffic Umbrella(never heard the Rihanna original!) the one song Ms. Digby did not write.
True we have other females in the soft-rock genre, like Celine Dion, Sheryl Crow, and I guess Michelle Branch counts, but both these ladies have been around a while. Hopefully we'll here alot more from Ms. Digby in the future(she hope so!).

Marie Diby is an amazing musician August 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Marie Digby is such an amazing person and musician. I think I am in love with her, so this is probably a seriously biased review. I loved the album, and I recommend it to anyone. It is definitely worth the price and more. The songs are amazing, the only down side to this album is that it doesn't include some of my favorite songs such as "Where Do I Go" and "Dear Friend".
Ok for a once over, but once is enough July 22, 2008 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
Preview sound bytes make this album quite attractive. Unfortunately, once I listened to the album, each song starts sounding very much like the previous one, and each song seems interminable, stringing along the listener on the same sound and beat forever. Could not wait for the end of the album.
Amazing! July 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is great. I didn't know much about Marie Digby, nor had I ever heard one of her songs but i decided that it was worth a try. It is fabulous! When I read the lyrics they reminded me of Anna Nalick but when I heard them it was a little like A Fine Frenzy. Gorgous lyrics, I could really relate to them. Check this album out!!!
