| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com If you're looking for musicians who wish to save the rainforests, don't bother with Nashville Pussy. These folks would be happy to mow it down with a riding mower and then party like it's 1973 or so. The riffage on High as Hell is pure sludge that recalls Grand Funk, Ted Nugent, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, while the power chords are straight AC/DC. Meanwhile, the two-guy/two-girl lineup makes for great tension and foreplay. Free your ass and your funny bone will follow. --Rob O'Connor
Album Description European collector's edition of the raunchy rock act's sophomore album, originally released in 2000. 17 tracks including five bonus tracks, 'Highway To Hell', 'Hot Rod', 'Age Of Pamparius' & live versions of 'Struttin Cock' &'Milk Cow Blues'. 2001.

Davis Allan Coe once mentioned " cheap thrills". Plenty of it

Great CD, perfect at what it does. Want to impress your friends? Pick up a copy of the Dead Boys' "Young, Loud, and Snotty". You'll see where Nashville Pussy got their sound...

The last time I bought an album 'cos the cover and title looked really cool was over a decade ago! WHITE ZOMBIE's "La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1". Well, that album went on to change my life and that band became one of my all-time favorite bands! Nashville Pussy will never change my life, but this album ROCKS and is a blast!!! It's like AC/DC meet ZZ Top inside a porno mag! I do NOT see how rockers could not LOVE this album (unless it offends them). But then why buy an album by a band named Nashville Pussy if you're the type to get offended? I'm a straight girl and I don't find it offensive, 'cos the singer's male and he doesn't just sing about women - he sings about himself and drugs, too. And, c'mon, it's just R-rated stuff on here. If I have any complaint, the album is too short - but I'm glad I got it. It's a lot of fun and it rocks like crazy. I'd love to see them in concert. Think I'll get their DVD next, or their latest CD.
Southern Trash Rock September 26, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Yeah, it's nitro-burnin' rock and roll, with all the southern affectations, but not the pretensions of someone like Lynyrd Skynyrd. Like your guitars loud? Like 'em distorted? Like a six-foot-tall chick in a bikini? Then you're set brother!
