When Orbital first took the stage at Glastonbury-on July 25th 1994-they arrived with a reputation as innovators of live electronic music and armed with a recently completed album no one outside of their studio had heard. By the time they had finished what has since been critically and generally acclaimed as one of the greatest live performances of all time it was clear that there was something going on between Orbital and Glastonbury that went beyond the realms of just being in the right place at the right time. Orbital Live at Glastonbury November 30, 2008
Excellent concert. Was searching for techno, or electronic music like this for a while, and this is it. This has the best version of the Dr Who song, as adapted by Orbital. The combination of the tune made at the BBC (see at youtube the way they produced the original Dr Who tune)and the addition of Orbital's own sound effects makes it magnificent. The Box and Walk Now,and Halcyon also show what Orbital can produce on its own. Haven't heard any of their other albums, but this one makes you want to hear more.

This live document is amazing. I saw them in London in 93 and they totally blew me away. This DVD/CD comfirms that.

Beautiful footage of the concert. I bought the disc for the dvd and I believe many others will do the same. The camera work is great! It shows the brothers performing, the crowd dancing, the light shows, the audience, all in perfect amounts. To whomever filmed this...WAY TO GO! The dvd was put into my old american bought dvd player (Apex) and plays fine. Get it now!
If i have a gripe its that the tracklist is a bit more dated than i would like. No matter though, this is awesome!

OK Orbital have allways been the best of therecent electronic bands that rose after the rave phenomenon. They have produced some incredibly good records both in album and single form. Apparently they were great live: I never saw them live...once on MTV and I was blown away. This live collection from Glastonbury is simply a masterpiece. It is well known that their performances at Glastonbury have been epic and this really shows that. The playing and the sound is great. We get most of the hits of course. It may be somewhat expensive since it contains the now obligatory live DVD...but what a live DVD: it contains all 16 tracks from the two CD's. It is really a sprawling work from a great band.

Orbital is arguably one of the greatest electronic bands ever to grace the airwaves. They have created an infectious sound all their own. A sound that is so inspiring and uplifting, it begs you to move to the beat.
If you like electronic music, and you like Orbital, then this is definitely for you. Good times.
