Literally, music to the ears September 7, 2008
With only one semester of music appreciation, I do not profess to be expert in the field, but as often stated in other art disciplines, I know what I like. I purchased this album just for The Second Waltz, one of my all time favorites and which was missing from my collection. Many albums, to ensure commercial success, rely heavily on Strauss, a very good choice, but not the only composer of merit. The rendition on this album supplied everything that I hoped to receive but, the additional tracks were a very rewarding bonus.
