Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
The Lucky Ones is the ninth album by the band, Mudhoney, a grunge band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. They have been an inspiration and influence on many grunge and alternative rock musicians, most notably Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. Mudhoney's career is chronicled in Our Band Could Be Your Life by Michael Azerrad, a study of several important American underground rock groups. 2008.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars 20 years of garage rocking!!   May 25, 2008

Mudhoney are back and still better than almost all the competition. Not a lot of innovation in style on this record yet it is hard to think of a current band who sound quite like Mudhoney and even harder to think of one who rock as much! Mark Arm's voice is still a thing to behold after all these years and "tales of terror" and "I'm now" are up there with Mudhoneys best songs! 20 years on and the great grunge survivors are still around to show the rest how it should be done!

The finest work since Superfuzz Bigmuff and Mudhoney. It is different but after 20 years what else would you expect? These guys have been solid for years and can still get it done better than 95% of the other crap out there right now.
