5 out of 5 stars Double Wide   June 27, 2008
To be honest, I really never thought uncle kracker was any good until a couple of months ago. All I heard was his songs follow me, drif away, and in a little while on the radio, and i didn't like any of them. But a couple of months ago I was watching Shanghi noon and heard the song yeah yeah yeah, and i acually though it was tight. I didn't know who sung it until I looked it up, and i was surprised to see uncle kracker sang it. So I got the cd thinking that if most of the songs were like follow me, at least my sister would like it, but this cd was the bomb. The intro was a litte lame, the first song, better days, was awesome. What chu lookin at was a tight rap song with a catchy chorus, follow me was still stupid, but it was the only song like that on the cd. Heaven was acually pretty good, even though i don't like kid rock. Steaks and shrimp is off the hook, probably the best song on the cd. Whos your uncle is another awesome song that is better than most stuff on the radio. Whiskey and water had a lame chorus, but the verses were so tigh it made up for it. Yeah Yeah Yeah is still my favorite song on the cd, aces and eights was weird but decent, and the last song was okay.

Overall, this is my favorite cd I have and if he would have stuck to rap, he could have been one of the elite rappers today.

5. Heaven (feat.Kidrock and Paradime)
6. Steaks and Shrimp
7. Who's Your Uncle
8. Whiskey & Water, a good ole tune
9. Yeah Yeah Yeah - 2nd Single
10.Aces & 8's
11.You Cant Take Me - Good Song To End The Album.

5 out of 5 stars BUY UNCLE KRACKERS DEBUT; HIS FIRST AND BEST   February 26, 2008
I used to own the edited version of this CD which sucked (that's all stupid Wal-Mart carried) , but I later bought the explicit one and I love it. I mean swaring isn't everything, but I can't stand hearing the bad words "zapped" and faded out with weird noises. The song's on here have already been reviewed so I won't get into that, but I would like to add BUY THIS!!!!!! the "Intro" and "Heaven" are by far the best songs, while "Follow Me" is a nice songs, it reflects something the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync would release (Very pop-orientated). BUY "DOUBLE WIDE" TODAY!!!

This product was terrible...and since i didn't listen to the cd before giving it away to a dear friend as a GIFT!!!! I was sooooo embarrassed and have no way to get it back at this point....he just figures that i got him a DEFECTIVE cd as a gift...Thanks a lot....it skips on a couple of spots and ruins the entire disk.....was VERY dissappointed....
