5 out of 5 stars Second Album Of Boondox   August 20, 2008
PunkinHed is Boondox's second album, which came out in 2007 and followed his CD The Harvest. It features two remixed from The Harvest which are They Prey With Snakes and Seven.
It doesn't really feature any of the other Psychopathic Records artists. It was a really small album with few songs, but there are some really good songs. The Seven Remix and Sleep Stalker are two of the best songs.
The killer of the cotton fields later busted out with his best album Krimson Creek on May 13th, 2008. A definate must buy for juggalos/juggalettes!

Bezerk The Antichrist

3 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to my expectations.   July 16, 2007
I loved The Harvest and was expecting Punkinhead to be a great addition to Boondox's catalog, but to me, it falls flat. It's probably the darkest release that Psychopathic has had out in years, but to me nothing really stands out. I like Sleep Stalker, but other than that, the rest of the songs are just mediocre. Boondox is working on his next full length album which is due out sometime in 2008, and I expect him to return to full freshness.

5 out of 5 stars Indeed, Boondox is the future of Psychopathic Records...   May 25, 2007

I was totally blown away by Boondox's debut record. Boondox is definitely the best thing going at Psychopathic Records and I see him as the future of the label.

"Punkinhed" would have to be one of the strongest EP's ever realeased by Psychopathic. All of the songs are awesome and very refreshing (my favs. being Punkinhed, Suffering, and Southern Nights). Even the two remixes on this cd are really good, which is a rare thing these days.

In conclusion, Boondox is indeed the future of Psychopathic and this EP is a good appetizer until he releases his next full-length album. Definitely worth it for the price.

3 out of 5 stars a good EP for the price   May 22, 2007
i liked the EP but i only liked 2 out of the 7 songs "Punkinhed" and "Southern Nights" boondox is a good add to psychopathic records but he does stand up to for more artists like anybodykilla(abk) but over all its was worth the cash i spent to get it.

Boondox's Punkinhead EP will keep you listening and in anticipation for his next project.

There are 5 new tracks, well 4 minus the Intro, and 2 remixes from The Harvest. This EP is short and devastating.

"Resurrection" is a short scary intro warning of what inevitably leads to the resurrection of a nightmare.

"Punkinhed" is the devastating title track. Boondox captured the legendary monster and wrapped the beast up into an amazing track. If Pumpkinhead could have written a song and rapped about where he came from, it would sound similar to this.

"Sleep Stalker" is along the same lines as ICP's "Sleep Walker", in it Boondox doesn't want to go to sleep because he wakes up to murder scenes and has the same problem as Violent J did where every time he falls asleep or closes his eyes somebody dies. Violent J comes in on the chorus for this track.

"Southern Nights" took a few listens but it's another cool track, there's a really good dueling harmonica and sliding guitar break in this song that's awesome and Violent J's all over this track.

"Suffering" is another great track, it has the same feel as "She's in the River" from The Harvest. In the song Boondox has a love interest and keeps her close by, torturing and making her suffer before she ultimately meets her untimely death, I must say Boondox comes off as quite the lady's man on these types of tracks.

REMIXES
"They Pray With Snakes" & "Seven" - I cant say enough about these remixes, they're remixes of tracks that are already great, some may look at the song list and see these tracks as filler tracks for the cd, but no, these remixes are amazing just like the rest of the entire Punkinhed EP, they're not to be overlooked because they complete the album and go over nice with the EP as a whole.

Overall, Boondox's Punkinhed EP is extremely dark and wicked.

Pumpkinhead himself would have to give Boondox props for the justice he gave to this legendary monster.
