 Worth it for one track January 19, 2008
This CD single contains the edited version of the first single from the superb album Reckoning Night by Sonata Arctica.
It also contains Ain't Your Fairytale from the same album, and two covers: Depeche Mode's World In My Eyes and Vanishing Point's Two Minds, One Soul.
The last song is the real reason to buy this CD. Sonata does a fantastic cover of Two Minds, One Soul - reportedly as a joke since they toured with Vanishing Point at one time. The song is incredible in its original form, but it was very cool to hear Sonata put their own twist on it.

Don't Say a Word is a edited version from the album "Reckoning Night". It's a cool song, very fast, typical Sonata Arctica song. "Ain't Your Fairytale" is a great Sonata song too. It's also a song from Reckoning Night. "Two Minds, One Soul" is a Vanishing point cover. I haven't heard the original one but this version is cool! "World in My Eyes" is a Depeche Mode cover. I like this version very much. DM's version is cool but this is even better! I usually listen to this in mornings! It's great to start a day with "World in My Eyes"!!! You should try it too...it may make you very happy!!! Tony Kakko sings perfectly all the songs!!!

the cover of depech mode was awsome, as well as the taste of theyre new album leaves me wanting more, the skill of the SA boys never ceases to amaze me, Tony's vocals are always stunning and the blend of keyboards and guitar is just...perfect
Sonata a son meilleur ? October 2, 2004
Pas facile de critiquer ce single la. Je pourrais dire,
qu'il ne contient que des bonnes pieces. Contrairement
a beaucoup de CD de Sonata qui parfois nous laissais sur
notre faim apres trois ou quatre chansons.
Ici, pas de probleme, les quatres titres,
Don't say a word, Ain't your fairytale, World in my eyes et Two minds one Soul sont tous, specialement les deux derniers,
des chansons classees B+ selon moi.
Kakko est au meilleur de sa forme, et pousse sa voix dans des tons graves jamais explores. L'ensemble du groupe aussi, jouent comme jamais auparavant.
Mon seul regret, c'est que bien qu'il n'y est aucune chanson
"plate" , il n'y a pas de chanson qui soit vraiment
etonnante. Je fait reference aux albums precedents , qui contenaient toujours une ou deux chansons accrocheuses.
Des elements interessants, certe, beaucoup d'amelioration selon moi. Mais un potentiel enorme et non-utilise sommeille encore au sein de la formation.
Il faut dire que ce n'est qu'un single, il faudra voir ce que va nous reserver l'album.
