 Feeling down? Get some RUDY ASAP! April 20, 2008
I was feeling down one day. Just felt that the world wanted to kick me around and not let me get back up. Then I watched tv and Rudy was on! The musical score is AWESOME! I knew I had to have it and Amazon did! Jerry Goldsmith, God rest his soul, was a brilliant composer. The feelings of exhileration and defeat and then finally redemption thouroughly make this cd an instant pick-me-up. I played this during a trip to school, in the rain, and on St. Patrick's Day and the day turned out to be great because of the positive themes perpetrating in my head. Totally awesome!

Beautiful March 10, 2006
The soundtrack of the movie "Rudy" is absolutely beautiful--for those who know the movie, it will bring back wonderful memories and for those who don't, it will inspire all listeners to see it. It is wonderful to dance to if you're a ballroom dancer--or if you're not, just sit back and let the music carry you away to another place and time. It is an excellent selection!
One of the very best January 14, 2006
This is one of the best scores I've heard in a very long time. I am totally blown away. Jerry Goldsmith's finest work since "A Patch of Blue." If you are a fan of movie scores, you cannot pass this one up. The snippets from the main page are a good indication but cannot do justice to hearing the full cuts -- "Tryouts" and "Take Us Out" are particularly uplifting and excellent.

For the person who gave this CD one star should not post a review like that again ever. I think this is a great soundtrack. Both Hoosiers and Rudy soundtracks are good and even the movie. If you give Rudy soundtrack one star then you must be on crack. It's the best soundtrack ever. Well, if your not a score music fan then you have a reason to give it one star but why did you bother posting a one star review where there is other people posting it five stars? My favorite track of this soundtrack is The Final Game where the crowds cheer for Rudy. That's the best one. There's nothing wrong with the soundtrack. It's great and also a perfect movie too. So go buy this CD you will like it!
