For driving! October 13, 2008 This is my all time favorite driving soundtracks. I never had road rage when I listened to it. I was too busy listening and driving.
Great CD but not complete September 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's missing the 'Through being cool' song by Devo that was playing during the bar scene in 'Taarna'
Yet Another Soundtrack Sampler For 80s Rock Radio August 23, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The soundtrack to the animated 1981 movie HEAVY METAL is absolutely wonderful, even though the movie itself was pretty tasteless. One band on here, Riggs, contributed members to Pat Travers' band. Several other artists here- Sammy Hagar, Nazareth, Stevie Nicks, Grand Funk Railroad, Don Felder, Blue Oyster Cult, and Journey- oppose Indonesia's trumped-up 2005 drug-smuggling conviction of a young Australian tourist, as well as creating a great soundtrack that makes even the most tasteless visual imagery worthwhile. So my advice is, buy the CD, don't see the movie.

A great choice for the original metal bands of the 80's

Always loved this album but never bought the CD. Now that I have it, all is well. Delivery and price were very reasonable.
