I always imagine the scenes with the music only to realize that the music is only good while you are watching the movie. Alone, it is a cacaphony of noise. Only one of the ending songs had any interest, but it is not worth inserting the CD for just one. One of these days I will wise up about soundtracks.
Skip the recording. Watch the movie instead.

... but this one wasn't as good as the first one. By "first" I mean that soundtrack that has Daniel Day-Lewis on the cover. Something about that one was just magical. Don't get me wrong, this is a great soundtrack but the first one had... "it". To the trained ear you can tell the difference in a number of the tracks.
I guess I'll have to buy the original CD and burn it.

Not nearly as lush a sound as the movie soundtrack. The orchestra is very good with the fiddle/violin parts as you would expect of a Scottish orchestra, but the overall depth of sound is disappointing.

Nearly everything about the product is perfect,
except that there appears to be one track missing which is the
female vocal near the end of the film.
