A nice little addition to your PJ collection... July 17, 2008 This a cool little LIVE EP from Pearl Jam... taking shots from Ten, No Code, and Riot Act, and also including a few rare covers I've never heard before. It truly pains me to rate any PJ item less than 5 stars, but I have to be honest, as biased as I tend to be. I feel they should've included atleast one or two songs from their latest LP, PEARL JAM. And I also think it could have been a little longer. Also to note, there is actually an "Intro" track (#1) before the set begins, making it a total of 8 tracks and not 7. The point being, don't go by the listed track #'s on the sleeve, they're off by 1. This however is a minor mistake easily forgiven and forgotten about if you're a true PJ fanatic like myself. When you love a band to no end and only see them in a "perfect" light, you tend to expect everything else to be perfect as well. All that being said, this is a fun little addition to your collection. I particularly liked the "Porch" version... different from the original that was recorded 17 years ago. This is the version you hear on Pearl Jam's latest DVD offering, Imagine In Cornice. The rare covers add an interesting touch as well. For the price, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Great mini-album. May 11, 2008 A good live EP of Pearl Jam tearing it up at Easy Street Records in Seattle. In recent years, Pearl Jam have gotten something of a second wind in their live performance; footage from their most recent tour shows the band as energetic as they were in the early 90's; a step-up from the hit and miss performances of the early 00's. This particular release captures their current energy well. A solid selection of tunes from a great set.
But twenty four dollars? Good lawd, that's a lotta money. The now OOP domestic release cost me seven bucks when it first came out. I'd recommend finding a better deal before shelling out $20+ for this. Or just download it.

This is a another great live show from Pearl Jam. Too bad its not the entire show. Whoever put this together dropped the ball...badly!! I've read reviews of this show saying it was incredible. Why only release these tracks? It's worth buying, it just leaves you wanting to hear the whole thing.
whoa! intense! June 7, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is what the others said it to be that reviewed this. Very intense! Not sure how or why it took me this long to find it.. but worth the wait!
Peace all..

Addendum January 12, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been a PJ fan since the mid-nineties and own hundreds of their albums, CDs, bootlegs, etc. So when I say to buy this I can't help being a little bit biased.
That aside, with no disrespect to reviewer Timothy J. Mccoy, this review was meant to make an addendum to his review: Only if you purchase this album straight from an independent record store would you be supporting said stores. Amazon is not an independent record store, and Live at Easy Street was released on J Records, owned and operated by Sony BMG. Nothing independent about that.
Also as a side note, if you are a bootleg collector, PJ performed 16 songs at this show, so if you are a completist you may want to find the complete show via audience recording.
