4 out of 5 stars Great adaptation of Beatle music   August 24, 2008
If you liked this movie, you will certainly like the c.d. New, updated versions of great Beatle classics. Talented young artists give the songs new life.

2 out of 5 stars spare me   May 17, 2008
Awful. Just awful. This just doesn't do justice to the originals. And the movie wasn't much better. People need to learn - you can't remake The Beatles.

1 out of 5 stars DREADFUL!   April 24, 2008

Dont waste your time and money on this filth. Cheesy garage bands trying to cover songs by the best band ever. Do yourself a favor and go buy Beatles songs. Also notice that teenagers are the ones responsible for all the positive reviews on this dreaded filth.

3 out of 5 stars Incomplete Soundtrack a Downer   April 3, 2008
I just picked up the soundtrack for the movie--I would not, knowing the track listing now, pay full price for it. Alot of my favorites from the movie aren't in this version of the soundtrack, which must have either been a poor decision or brilliant marketing to make people pick up the deluxe version as well. Be warned to check out what you're actually buying here.

That being said, the movie and sountrack are both good enough, if you're a fan of the Beatles it's a neccesity to see and hear, if not, It's along the lines of a visually tamer Moulin Rouge. Some of the songs are really amazingly well done, while some of them seem like they were forced in (especially while watching the movie).

What a miserable remake of what are some of the best songs ever written! Sacrilege in my opinion. Spend your time and money on the original recordings.
