Bad deal September 28, 2008 I have been a fan of Buddha Bar and this latest collection I have is a promo CD, which clearly labelled "for promotional use only", which means not to be sold.
Moreover, the price of it near to my other Buddha Bar series made me feel that it is not a fair deal.
Unethical as it is but I feel ripped off.
Buddha Rat August 30, 2008 Major ..minor keys...........wow!! Well worth the price.Get Up... Carmen - Waldeck _ blows me away..I'm off to buy Waldecks gramaphone now.
At last a return to WORLD Lounge Music July 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
At last Ravin has returned to what really works with these Buddha Bar CDs--WORLD Lounge Music. There are plenty of regular lounge, chillout, dance CDs around, but I count on Buddha Bar to bring in that Parisian sound from around the world. The remixes are excellent, especially the one by Sia. As usual, however, I really like CD 1 MUCH better than CD 2 (which gets thumpy and dancey). I would rather dance to global beats than a "house" beat...
All in all, WAAAAY better than the last one which was only dance music.
Not as good as the old ones. June 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I 've heard it many times trying to catch the spirit of this volume, but it isn't as goog as the previous ones. CD 2 is not strong enough as it usually is, it doesn't reach to that point.
Buddha Bar, Vol. 10 June 12, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I own the entire Buddha Bar collection and they are all great and unique! At times both CDs are good or one is better then the other. With Buddha Bar, Vol. 10, I find CD1 is better then CD2 but still a GREAT buy!
I have read previous reviews that indicate the music is not relaxing. These are NOT Buddhist meditation CDs, IT'S LOUNGE MUSIC and WORLD MUSIC! If you like lounge music and world music, then you'll love Buddha Bar.
