A Must For All Boney M Fan August 25, 2008
Finally a box set that truly complements most existing Boney M CDs. The 3rd CD alone with it's 12" versions is worth the price, especially Felicidad's 11:46 version! All cuts beautifully remastered. Could have lived without Daddy Cool's '86 version and taken the full 8:54 12" version of Gadda-Da-Vida instead. But hey, one can't have everything;-)

if you are been Boney.M fan. this is pack for us. Mostly songs is full leght version , not edited version. And with bonus cd with 12"long version its was not realeased before...i loved this cd very much

The tracklisting is a true addition to the Boney M. catalogue. 17 songs haven't been released on CD before in the versions as they appear here, including several 12" versions and 7" versions. The artwork says that "Children Of Paradise" in it's 5.19 maxi version is released here on CD for the first time; this isn't exactly true, since it has been previously released on several compilations before, like on the "Ma Baker" compilation (295660 Ariola Express, 1989) and exclusive club CD "Boney M. - Golden Stars" (360537 SR International, 1996).
A pity is the fact that "Ribbons Of Blue" is presented here in the 1993 "More Gold" version instead of the original 1979 version, which still hasn't been released on CD from it's original master. But that is probably the only critisism you can say about this boxset, and our compliments go to Frank Eberlein, who selected the songs for this compilation with much care. The artwork is very "Boney M.-ish" and properly done, allthough not too spectacular. Regarding the fact that this boxset is budget priced, this is absolutely value for money (10 euros more or less).
