5 out of 5 stars THE ULTIMATE!   October 28, 2008
This is the cd album that ultimately got me hooked with Norman Brown. The way he plucks that guitar is like he's some alien from outer space who went down to earth and played awesome music so earthlings could get a sample of his skill. Truly amazing! Hats off to this artist who is just as pure as smooth jazz can be. More power to you!

5 out of 5 stars Smooth Jazz at it's best   December 12, 2007
If you like jazz guitar instrumentals, then you'll love Norman Brown. Norman's guitar style & sound is very much like George Benson, but with Brown's own, unique flair blended in. His music is very soothing and I find it a great way to relax and unwind. I'm well on my way to collecting all of Norman Brown's CD's and highly recommend him to any Jazz lovers music library.

5 out of 5 stars Smooth Jazz with sweet Guitar tracks!   September 22, 2007
Maybe a 4.5 but I don't mine giving it 5 stars.

Very Good Jazz and I think I'm beginning to love Jazz remakes of Popular Music. Norman is one of the reasons for this change. All 3 remakes on this album is very well done. Take out the background singers and I'd call it perfect. Origins like the title is also good.

If you like George Benson, you'll love this.

5 out of 5 stars Still The Very Best Of Norman Brown   May 25, 2007
If I had to recommend just one CD from Norman Brown, "After the Storm" would be it. Still his best effort, the CD that introduced me to his music and the one I introduced my wife to. Gifted guitarist, every bit the caliber of George Benson, though vocally, not in the same league. And that's why I'd recommned this one over later releases. He sticks to what he does best; instrumentals. "After the Storm" is as smooth as contemporary jazz get's.

5 out of 5 stars Better Late Than...   May 22, 2007
I only just discovered this CD after buying and loving his album, "Just Chillin'." I love that CD and "After the Storm" is my newest love! I think the entire album is wonderful! But here are a few favorites: "Take Me There," "After The Storm," "Lydian," & "El Dulce Sol." However, the classics such as "For The Love Of You" & "Any Love" are nice too. I think it just flows well like a smooth jazz album should. It's well worth every penny. It's nice to get your money's worth! Listen, see what you think!
