 Great stress reliever September 5, 2008
CD is very calming and helpful with effective relaxation exercises. Soft, soothing male voice takes you through a visualization of different muscle groups with tightening then letting go of them. My husband always fall asleep before one session is over. This has been very helpful in treating his Chronic Pelvis Pain Syndrome.

I enjoy the 4 tracks of relaxing scripts very much. The voice is very soothing, and the music compliments beautifully. The four tracks offer a nice variety of relaxation processes: body awareness, visualization, breathing focus, positive self-talk. The reason I gave this item 4 instead of 5 stars is because I actually find that sometimes the script is read too fast, I find myself falling behind, and, well, this stresses me out. I suppose as I continue to use this, I'll get better at it.

I recently purchased five different relaxation CDs from Amazon to help with stress reduction. Letting go of Stress is by far the best of the five. I like this one the best because the music is excellent and the narrator's voice is very calming. The voice on some of the others I purchased are scratchy or otherwise distracting and get in the way of relaxation. I highly recommend this CD.

Wonderful relaxation aid March 12, 2008
I purchased Letting Go of Stress with the intention of using it only for relaxation. However, on one very stressful evening I listened to this CD while I was trying to go to sleep. As I listened to this CD I slowly drifted into deep sleep. It was not until I awoke this next morning that I realized that I had fallen listening to the CD. That morning I felt compeletly refreshed and ready to face a new day. I have since untilized this CD to aid in going to sleep. This was amazing to me due to the fact that I have suffered from insomnia my entire life. I would recommend Letting Go of Stress to anyone who needs help with destressing or even a sleep aid.
