4 out of 5 stars Roy ayers in San Jose, CA.   September 11, 2008
First time I was around this music, I said "wow" !!! This was back in the day. A band called "pleasure" would be the opening act. I was on campus at San Jose State College. Pleasure was great, cool with a spin on jazz that was different. But, then Mr. ROY Ayers and his band came on and it was " OHH!! My Lord ", talk about a new sound. Oh Yeah it was fresh. these tracks are some of the ground work laid down by the master of the Funky vibraphone. I love some, BABY YOU GIVE ME A FEELING. Great tracks abound here folks. Get this disc it's HOT!! HOT!! HOT!!

5 out of 5 stars Roy Ayers Ubiquity Vibrations...   May 11, 2008

Five stars!

I normally rate my albums last. Not this time. This album came out in the fall of 1976. Earlier in the year, Roy Ayers Ubiquity released the outstanding "Everybody Loves the Sunshine." This follow-up was more than able to stand up on it's own. I've waited for years (and years) for this to be released on CD. My patience has finally been rewarded!

My favorite cuts are:

1. The memory
2. Searching (this song was the best!!)
3. Vibrations
4. Baby you give me a feeling (only 3 minutes long, but oh, boy!!)

Don't worry about the rest of the album, it's still a great buy!!

Thanks Roy Ayers (and Ubiquity) and Polydor for enabling me to complete my Collection!

My rating (again): Five Stars! (I still can't believe it's here - Hooray!)

one of roy's early lp's that finally made it to cd, this is a very good title, if you're a ayers fan you know what i mean, so you wont go bad trying this. Again about time.
