 Goldstar Ballroom Dancing - Waltz May 21, 2008
I ordered this CD so that my boss could dance to a certain waltz on this CD that he had learned to dance to at a professional studio. It had to be the same waltz and it was. And I can tell you when he danced with his oldest daughter at her wedding recently to this waltz, it was heavenly and the most beautiful part of the wedding. He insisted he wasn't going to dance but then decided he must and took the time to learn how to dance and he was extraordinary and she was a natural with him on the floor. They twirled and dipped and everyone was on their feet clapping when it was over. Very special moment which will last forever.

This is an inexpensive collection of some great waltzes. Nine of these are also available on the Dancelife, Best of Waltzes, 1999. A couple more are available on Dancelife's Ballroom Originals Two doulbe album. Both of those are spendy, so this is a fine place to begin collecting competition quality ballroom waltzes. These are played "strict tempo" and at competition speed (28-29 measures per minute).
There are a couple editions of this disc, and they seem to be identical. One is dramatically less expensive, so shop wisely.
