3 out of 5 stars Slave "Live In Concert"   April 26, 2008

Well if you know anything about Ol Skool Funk, then Slave has to be in the Top 10.

Slave "Live In Concert" is Not a bad DVD but beware this DVD showcase only 1 original member of Slave and that's Mark "Drac" Hicks who does the awesome Guitar solo on the song "Slide".

Beside the fact that the rest of the members are NOT of the original lineup the musicianship was well put together.

"Watching You","Weak At The Knees", "Snapshot", "Just Of Touch Of Love", "Wait For Me", "Slide" were all played exceptionally well.
The DVD was recorded at a funk festival in Chicago in 07.

I didn't care for the interviews at the beginning of the DVD I felt it should've been done after the performance but the actual show only lasted about 35 minutes plus a 15 Min bonus concert that was held at some ballroom so overall it's not a lengthy performance but if you like Ol Skool, Slave put on a good show but I was expecting more.
