Progressive and Classic July 3, 2008
I've listened to Wycliffe Gordon perform over the years both live and on his recordings. This CD is one of his best, as equally impressive as Bone Structure with trombonist Ron Westray. I first heard selections from Boss Bones while listening to WNCU out of NC Central University. Amazing compositions and playing by both Mr. Gordon and Andre Hayward! I highly recommend this to any new and veteran jazz afficionado.

I prefer to keep reviews short and sweet so "hear" it is: A brilliant work, great musicianship and writing. Fun and fantastic, pay the few extra bucks and enjoy some true talent.....
